Procedure for international certification support
Submission of Korean eco-labeling certification application form	Applicant: Submit application form. KEITI: Receive application form.

Receipt of certification application	KEITI: Review application and provide a guide to application fee payment. Applicant: Pay application fee to KEITI. Overseas certification body: Receive application form and provide a guide to application fee payment. Applicant: Pay application fee to overseas certification body.

Assignment of auditors, notifying the applicant of on-site audit schedule	KEITI: Assign auditors and notify the applicant of audit schedule.

Document screening	KEITI: Document screening of application form and submitted documents

On-site audit	KEITI: Seal after on-site audit and sampling Applicant: Request for test analysis to testing agency. Testing agency: Conduct test analysis.

Receipt of evidence data and test result	Applicant: Submit evidence data to decide on the status of conformity to certification criteria. Testing agency: Send the test result. KEITI: Receive the test result and review data.

Sending the review report to the overseas certification body	KEITI: After drawing up the review report, send to certification body abroad. Overseas certification body: Decide whether the product conforms to the certification criteria.

Notifying the applicant of the result	Overseas certification body: Notify the applicant of the result and provide a guide to use fee payment.

Delivery of the certificate	Applicant: Pay the use fee. Overseas certification body: Deliver the Eco-Label certificate.

Use of overseas eco-label	Applicant: Use the overseas eco-label.

In the case of a certifiable product, KEITI provides a guide to the certification criteria and documents required for the country concerned. The applicant draws up the international Eco-Label certification application form and submits it to KEITI (KEITI notifies the overseas certification body of the application for certification).

When an applicant submits the required documents, KEITI reviews whether the product meets the international certification criteria in writing and conducts on-site inspection, if necessary.
KEITI notifies the applicant if it decides that the applicant product meets the international certification criteria, draws up an English certification application review report, and sends it to the certification body abroad (if the certification criteria are not satisfied, notify the applicant of the reason for disapproval of certification).
After the certification body checks the review report, when there is no abnormality, notify the applicant of the intention of contracting. The applicant pays the certification use fee set by the overseas certification body and signs the certification use contract.
After entering into a certification use agreement, when the overseas certification body requests for surveillance action to KEITI, KEITI carries out sample test or on-site verification for the certified product; it may also take the necessary surveillance action.

Note 4. In case of data translation to a third-party language(other than English): Impose actual expense-
based commission
Note 5. Surtax is excluded.
